Sensory Friendly Time at Explora

Enjoy this dedicated time for our guests who prefer a less sensory-stimulating visit. Limited attendance: tickets are available to reserve ahead of time. Adaptations include: sensory kits (including noise reduction headphones, fidget objects, timers, social stories, and more), noise and light reduction (some exhibits might be turned off), and additional calming space for sensory breaks. Perfect for infants, neurodivergent visitors, and stress-sensitive individuals who will enjoy our engaging and beautiful STEAM learning environment.

Explora will be closed: Tuesday, �Sept. 3 - Monday, Sept. 9.

Maintenance Week will begin Tuesday, September 3 and run through Monday, September 9. During that time, we are closed to the public while we refresh and restore all the exhibits, nooks, and crannies you and your family love!

We will reopen on Tuesday, September 10 at 10:00 am.
